Notes: Fresh cut oak, sweetgrass, firewood, damp bark

Introducing Malinao, a wild-harvested Fillipino oud oil and a standout addition to any collection. This limited-edition release is an excellent introduction to the exquisite oils of Southeast Asia.

Sourced from the forests around Mt. Malinao in Albay, this Filipino agarwood oil sits in a similar family as Merauke but with its own distinct profile. It opens green and clean—forest air, damp bark, morning moisture—before shifting into a warm, firewood-like depth that gives it a quiet autumn feel.

Where Merauke leans buttery and soft, Malinao holds a drier, more structured profile: crisp wood, light smoke, and a steady resinous finish. A straightforward, reliable oil that adds new regional variety to our catalog. A new fave, limited availability.

Wonderful

This Oud is amazing. The crisp, clean earthy profile is such an olfactory delight, it rewards my limbic system with positivity and keeps me grounded all day. I bought 1mL first and immediately stocked up with another 3mL order. It’s that good!

The real stuff

I find myself longing for the old now-too-expensive tigerwood, and looking for its essence in new offerings. This oud has a solid presence and complexity that makes my olfactory receptors happy.
