Offers a long burning, syrupy smoke with an initial hit of subdued spice and main notes of cinnamon, tamarind, and freshly baked bread. Beautiful pieces.Oudify your life with some of our Malaysian Special.
Hailing from the Sultanate of Terengganu on the Northeastern most part of the Malaysian peninsula, our Malaysian Special is a classic example of a hard, resinous Malaysian oud wood from the Aquilaria Malaccensis species. Wild harvested.
Notes: Balsam, Citrus
This resin, known as al-Hojari, is one of the highest qualities available in this famed olibanum-producing country. It is from the mountainous Dhofar region, which is known for its high-scented olibanum because of its arid climate and inhospitable terrain. It is under these circumstances that the resin production is at its best.
Our al-Hojari frankincense has all of the classic balsam-citrus notes one would expect from olibanum of this quality, without any of the harsher tones which often come with inferior olibanum.
Embrace the ancient today.
